Likbodsprojektet

Likbodsprojektet (likbod = mortuary in Swedish), is an explorative building project that started by me getting in contact with two people living at a rehabilitation clinic, whom had found an abandoned mortuary, standing close to the clinic where they were living, and wished to transform it as an exploration in what therapy could be.
This was the beginning of a project that came to span between January 2015 until august 2018, when a new interior room was built up on the inside the small house.
The process was carried out by me moving to the locality of the building and immersing myself in the area to be able to develop the work together with my initial collaborators as well as other people living at the nearby rehabilitation clinic and local people who joined our process in transforming the building.
