The film is made as a section cut along the shore of the river in the town of Umeå. 

The camera turns it back to the river and look towards what’s facing it. How is the city meeting the river?

At the same time as different scenes present a life close to the water, we can hear voices telling stories about memories, dreams and opinions that all concerns the river and its relation to the city.
